I love Spring! It is all about birth and fertility, and grounding (hence the bunnies and eggs) .
I love to use this time to plant our goals like seeds and nurture and tend to the goals I am working towards.
Spring cleaning is no joke in my house. I love to purge and refresh my home and energies.
I have recently cleaned out my linen closet and that was terrifying lol.
Celebrate your space and home. Clean out what no longer serves you which can be anything from a cluttered closet, detoxing your gut, or clearing stagnant blockages from your energy.
Celebrate your fresh space by cleansing the air, add fresh spring flowers, remove clutter and let the sun in.
Add bright colors for a cheerful and happy addition and make the space feel airy and bright.
Play in the dirt as much as possible. Go for walks and breathe in fresh air.
This season is so rewarding and fruitful.

Everyone has some kind of experience when they receive sound healing. Some see visions, some people feel emotions, some feel it in their bodies, and some see colors.
Yesterday I got to talk to some ladies at our sound bath about their experiences and one topic that came up was the colors they saw. I always get a kick out of what other people experience, so I ask what it was like for them.
One woman saw all the colors of the frequencies that I was focusing on that day. Another saw them too and had some other visions.
It may seem bizarre that you would see colors, but let's not forget that sound is light waves stretched out, so if I play a specific frequency and your body is in tune the chances of you seeing that frequency's color, is good.
Not everyone has this experience, but it is not uncommon.
Sound healing and vibrational healing is actually pretty scientific. It may sound made-up, but I assure you it's all connected.
Holistic therapies have been around longer than modern medicine and while I have much respect for modern medicine, not every ailment needs to be medicated.
Stress for example is a great ailment to be cured with holistic healing methods. Learning to connect with your body, mind and spirit, helps identify the root cause of the stress and can help your body begin to heal itself.
We know stress causes many problems within the body, so it is very important to treat it when you can and take self-care seriously making it a part of your regular health care routine.

So yesterday I was looking at a post from last year it got me thinking about the time I stepped out of living in fear, to living true to myself and who I am.
I started helping people over 20 years ago, attain the tools they needed to live the life they deserve, and the foundations to living true and authentically are habits and boundaries.
When we put healthy habits into place, we are helping ourselves be better versions of ourselves. When we input healthy boundaries, we are making sure others honor who we are.
The truth is that we create our lives and the level of involvement we choose to have in control of our lives. if our life is lacking, there is an imbalance and it needs to be addressed and worked through.
Goal setting helps get us to where we want to be and helps us strive to achieve. It gives us drive and motivation to live the life we dream and deserve. Goals are the end result to manifest into reality, it's getting there that is the journey.

Exciting week especially for Love Day. Venus and Neptune are conjoining which is going to make us all weak in the knees and maybe a little in LALA Land.

This Saturday is the New Moon in Aquarius. I just love new moons! If you didn't know that about me you do now and it is a constant excitement for me every month.
Why do they excite me?
New Moons bring new beginnings and the end of things that no longer serve. We get to manifest our realities and make goals for the upcoming Lunar cycle.
This is perfect if you are like me and need to make their goals in small portions. I want to achieve big but break it down and lets tackle it little by little.
The New Moon in Aquarius brings on this feeling of reform and spirituality. We feel spiritual awakenings and are able to start to see the necessary changes that need to happen to break up destructive behaviors.
It is also a time that toxic traits and things that are hindering growth will present themselves.
It is important to keep watch of our emotions and mind our words, as we are manifesting.
The next two weeks are going to carry this energy and it is important to take self-care seriously. Since things may get shaken up, take time to center and ground yourself.
Go receive a healing session and help remove what no longer serves that you.
Meditate and relax as much as possible.

Today I did a podcast on mindfulness and slowing down our lives. I was thinking about what the beginning of the new year usually stands for and what we are working on in our Spiritual Warriors membership group. The beginning of a new year usually symbolizes change and growth. We look forward to setting goals and "making it the best year ever!"
But we tend to forget that when we push ourselves to hard to quick we set ourselves up for failure. Start slow and make small adjustments to attain big change.
Winter months are here to help us live life a little slower and really become mindful of what we are doing and what we have in our lives. Get cozy and slow down. We can't continue at a crazy pace and not burn out so take some time and breathe.
Work on yourself and develop a healthy self-care routine.
In our Spiritual Warriors group we are working on goal setting to attain success. We learned how to make healthy habits stick and how setting healthy boundaries helps us keep on track. Now we will be focusing on tending to our goals. Monthly healing sessions will help us remain calm and on track and out community and coaching sessions provide support so you are never doing it alone!

Chakra Healing
Chakra Healing
The art of chakra healing has been used for centuries to balance important energy centers in our body called chakras. We can use a number of different tools such as stones or meditation during chakra balancing. The end result will be a physically healthier body and a happier, more peaceful you.
We all have seven primary chakras that correspond with vital areas of our bodies and emotional and spiritual aspects of our lives. The seven chakras form a line from the base of your spine to the top of your head. Chakras have their own color, vibrational frequency, and symbol. For example, the first chakra is found at the base of the spine and is known as the root chakra. This chakra governs the spinal column, kidneys, legs, feet,
rectum, and immune system. So, when this chakra is out of balance, it may lead to lower back pain, varicose veins, leg cramps, rectal conditions, depression, as well as immune related disorders. A lack of balance in the root chakra may be caused by feelings of low self-esteem, insecurity, or family concerns. Other chakras include the sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, brow, and crown chakras. Each energy center must be vibrating at the proper frequency independent of one another in order for the entire body to vibrate in harmony. Therefore, each chakra is equally important to optimal functioning of the body according to the chakra healing tradition.
Many powerful tools can affect the vibration of the chakra, and that’s where chakra balancing comes into play. Chakra healing brings the frequency of the chakras back into proper vibrational alignment. For example, the root chakra is greatly affected by the hematite, onyx, ruby or garnet gemstones. During chakra healing a practitioner may use one or all of these chakra stones to cleanse your root chakra and bring it into harmony.
Chakra meditation may also be used to open up your chakra centers and improve the flow of positive psychic energy in your body. During meditation you simply concentrate on each of the chakras starting with the first one and working your way up to your crown chakra. By imagining the flow of energy from chakra
to chakra, you are helping to remove blockages in each energy center that might be causing pain and disease.
Because the chakras govern every organ and system in your body, chakra healing has far reached health implications. Chakra balancing can lead to improved heart, lung, brain, immune and digestive function and may also help with depression, anxiety, and other emotional imbalances. Many believe that the chakras have the power to transform your life both physically and spiritually. It is only when our chakras are in sync that we can truly access higher levels of consciousness.

Vibration and Energy Healing
My favorite and I mean favorite modality of healing is vibrational energy healing.
Let’s start off by giving an understanding what I’m talking about.
Everything is made of energy and vibrates at different frequencies. When we have imbalances, our frequencies vibrate at an off-balance frequency.
The body needs to be at the right frequencies to start to heal itself. Vibrational healing can help balance the frequencies from your outer Biomagnetic fields all the way to your inner cellular levels.
Using energy healing alongside frequency healing we get more bang and promote complete healing.

The Resistance and The Push
Do you ever feel like life is pushing against you?

Because when we grow, we change. Our vibrations change, our energy changes, our thoughts change, the way we view the world changes.
So, when we view things differently, they respond differently. This is especially true when we are succeeding. Did you ever notice when you are doing really well that something drastic happens?
Yup that means you are on the right path. Don’t give in to its distractions just acknowledge and move forward. Take these as signs you are on your way to greater things.

Grounding Exercises
Are you feeling all over the place and flighty lately? You are not alone. So many of my students, clients, and friends including myself have been suffering from anxiety and feeling scattered. Learning to ground is one of the best things in my adult toolbox. I teach is to my kids and my kid students, my adult students, my adult kids and their friends. It’s all very important.
There are many different and fun ways we can incorporate grounding into our day. Grounding can be as simple or elaborate as we want it or need it to be. Some days are worse than others so we can go with a simple breath exercise, or we can forest bathe and go camping. Grounding can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, improve sleep and bring balance to the mind and body.
Here are a few grounding exercises I personally enjoy doing!
1> Go for a mindful walk. Take a slow walk around the yard, neighborhood, a park or town. Take notice of the sights, smells, sounds and feelings you experience. Silently walk and just observe. Be in the moment with your surroundings.
2>Play in the dirt!!! I personally can’t get enough of this one. I love to garden, even if it’s tending to my inside garden aka house plants. Weeding my flower beds and moving the soil is relaxing. The dirt is absorbing all my negatives and replacing it with fresh positives.
3>Take a bath or go for a swim. Add some salts or oils to a bath and just sink on in. Allow the water to swirl around you and warm and relax you. Let go of the tensions and toxins you are holding in and let it go down the drain.
4>Aroma therapy. Some scents can be very grounding. here is a list of aromas that are known for their grounding properties. Birch, Clary sage, Lavender, Myrrh, Patchouli and Sandalwood. You can burn candles, diffuse oils, heat dried herbs etc.
5>Grounding Stone Meditations. I teach this one to my kids class a lot. Hold a stone and focus on it. feel the texture and notice the colors. Is it smooth or rough? What shape is it? Is it cold to the touch? Where did is come from? Then we hold it in both hands and as we close our eyes and breathe, we put all our worries in the stone. Once we are done, we either burry the stone or cleanse the stones. Here are a few stones used for grounding. Amber, Tiger’s Eye, Bloodstone, Black Tourmaline, Citrine and Hematite. I also love river rocks when doing the meditation with younger kids so they can bury them or throw them in the water.
